Sweet Success at Columbus NAC

CAPITAL graduate Marta Lasota and CAPITAL fencers Honor Johnson and Amit Hanadari-Levy were all business, and then all smiles at their results, at this month’s US Fencing Association’s North American Cup in Columbus, Ohio. With the support of her coach at Harvard, Peter Brand, and coached by Dariusz, Marta took 7th in the Junior event (ages 20 and under). Her clubmates Amit and Honor earned spots in the top 16 out of a field of nearly 150 fencers. Brava! Brava ladies!

Capital Fencers Recruited to Ivy League

Congratulations to Marta Lasota and Adam Green who will be leaving for Harvard University and University of Pennsylvania this fall! Thanks to their years of dedicated work and hard training, they not only have achieved fantastic results in our sport, but were each recruited to two of the best schools in America.

Marta and Adam are great examples of what we can achieve with the right approach!

Great job and we'll miss you both!

Summer Camps and the Olympics

Capital Fencing Summer Camp are an exciting way to spend the summer. This year we will have more fun and excitement than ever before as we celebrate the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio! Campers can look forward to watching some of the Olympic fencing excitement during camp, with explanations and tactical review from our team of coaches. Not only will you get to cheer for your favorite American athletes, but you'll learn more about what makes them so successful!

If you haven't signed up for camp yet, there are still a few spots left for later in the summer. Visit our camps page for more details.
